Your blueprint for mastering happiness

Hi!

My name is Susan Blanton.  Many years ago, I found myself divorced after 18 years.  I had thought I had done everything my parents told me to live a successful life.  What was missing was knowing who I was, respect and love for myself, setting boundaries, discarding beliefs that weren't serving me, and no vision for the future except more of the same.  Being a mother and being a wife.  My role, I thought, was to make everyone happy, keep the peace and be someone that everyone expected me to be.  What I created in myself was a people-pleasing perfectionist! What happened was I lost myself and in losing myself, my husband lost interest and we divorced.  Next thing I know, I am a single mother, having never lived on my own, jobless, bankrupt, and in another relationship that everyone didn't agree with.  I was sitting in confusion as to what I did wrong, who was I and what do I want out of life.  

So I decided that since pleasing people was not possible at the moment and I was far away from living that perfect life I was expected to have,  I gave some beliefs up and attempted for the first time not caring what people thought of me and started to add things in my life that I wanted, learned my preferences and setting some boundaries rather than saying yes to everyone else.  I started saying yes to me.  This was met with disappointment and at times anger from those who were used to me agreeing to their every whim or demand.  It was not easy to recreate myself, but after I stood my ground, my life started to get easier!  Much easier than trying to please everyone else and manipulating everything around me to try to create happiness.  I was barking up the wrong tree.

Next thing I know, my relationships are blossoming, my finances increasing, opportunities coming before me, my health improving!  I now own a home twice as much as the home we had when we divorced, drive my dream convertible, and have a dreamy committed relationship!  Everyday, seems to get easier!  My work is easier, my passion for new things increases, and those lower vibrations, I call them now, which are emotions, don't stay too long.  Most of the time, I am feeling great!  Daily happiness!  Even during Covid19! 

So I created the CREATE Happy Now Podcast to interview others like me who have transformation stories to inspire my listeners!   Eventually, I would like to have more than weekly episodes!  I would like to have some funds to help with editing and managing the production of the podcast and subsequent YouTube videos as well as other platforms to spread this information and give people the blueprint that my guests and I followed to lead a happy, fulfilled life with purpose.
