I'm probably not going to win the lottery. My main strategy involves buying a ticket when I remember and then immediately losing it, which experts agree is "sub-optimal."
This financial reality is colliding head-on with my other reality: I am terminally unimpressed. The current entertainment landscape is a beige banquet of recycled ideas, and my soul is starving for something with flavor. So, in an act of profound selfishness, I've decided to create a podcast that entertains me. My theory is, if I find it uplifting and hilarious, there must be at least a few other people out there with my impeccable taste.
Unfortunately, this grand artistic endeavor has a few pesky requirements. Apparently, "courage" and "hard work" are non-negotiable, and "research" and "publishing" aren't just things that happen by magic. They require time and money, those two things I was hoping to get from that lottery ticket I can't find.
This is my official S.O.S. I am the Ruth of Podcasting, seeking a benevolent Boaz to notice me toiling in the content fields. This Boaz can be a dude, a dudette, a whole company of dudes/dudettes—I'm not picky. While the reference is biblical, the podcast is more contemplative than commandment. The goal? To inject a massive dose of heroine-style girl power into the world. Because frankly, the world needs more heroines.

I am hopeful through financial support through streaming I will be able to continue to write updates to Star Trek Fan Fiction, test out many Fan-based cocktails expand producers improve the sound mixing, and improve the script.
I would love to review new movies now that the strike has been lifted. For 3 people per movie and an average of $15 per ticket, that's over $1,125 in movie ticket costs alone.

Good web designers are not cheap! We would love to have an even more modern website with commenting, Facebook integration, and responsive design for both mobile and desktop devices. But this will take a lot of time as all the information for our shows has to be migrated, and the site needs to be designed and built. We are too busy making the shows to do it ourselves, but if we hit this goal then in a few months we would be able to hire professionals to bring our site up to 2024!
