Niccolo Fitzhugh is a retired cop from Northeast Ohio, the heart of Ohio's fracking belt, who has taken on a second career as a private detective. While most of his caseload involves divorce actions, all too often Fitz finds himself on the wrong end of a gun. Readers have called the novels "a pretty fantastic noir-style crime novel" and "a great read."
