A lot of people have a lot of things to say about Islam and Muslims. And much of it is not good and much of it comes from people who are not Muslim.
We as Muslims also do not have much in the way of entertainment. Sure, there are a lot of great Muslim speakers and definitely some great poets and artists.
But it's rare to find high-quality, Islamic entertainment from Muslims that also educates. And that's what I hope the Islamic History Podcast to be.
I want to show the complexities and intricacies of the history of Muslim people from all over the world. And I want to do so in a fun and entertaining way.
Some of our history is tragic and some of it is divisive. But there are lots of heroes, villains, and ordinary people in Islamic history that have contributed a great deal to the world we live in today.
And this is a story that needs to be told and not just as another Islamic lecture.
These Premium episodes expand on this idea. I hope you enjoy these extra episodes (of which there are over 50) and learn more about the history of the Muslim world.

Sadaqah
If we reach this goal, one month of pledges will be donated to an Islamic charity. This will spread the reward amongst us all.
The charity will be one that specifically helps impoverished, needy, or imprisoned Muslims.
So that will be at least $500 to a Muslim organization that is helping ease the pain and suffering of Muslims.
