The Word with Miranda Rae view podcast

I have been working in radio since I was just 18yrs old.  I have had a weekly show on Radio 5 for which won a Sony Award, I was Head of Specialist Programmes on Galaxy Radio where I formatted a groundbreaking style of radio giving underground dance music a platform never had before.  I worked in the cut throat music and media industries for many years but yes it was a bit cut throat for me.  I took time out to be a mum and now am thrilled to of returned to radio but to community radio.  I am proud to be the Broadcast manager for Ujima Radio, the UK's no 1 urban station.   Community radio gives you the freedom to curate and produce radio that other platforms cants and its the same with Podcasting. Mainstream media fails to give a voice to all of our communities and thats what I endeavour to do with my show, The Word on Ujima Radio which is on every Friday 4-6pm, www.ujimaradio.com
