Hello.
My name is Nicholas McInerny and I am one of the Rainbow Dads.
Working with my friend, the producer, Richard Shannon, we made Rainbow Dads. We knew we had an audience out there, even if a lot of that audience were men going through what we had been through and were feeling very alone.
Since the Podcast has been released, we have built relationships with other LGBTQ+ organisations in the UK and the US. We have won awards. We have appeared on national media. We have written articles. We have also spoken to many individuals seeking advice.
It's been a wonderful experience. We feel we have shone a light on a rich aspect of LGBTQ+ life and hopefully made a difference.
We would like to continue. We have plans for a second series - and maybe even a third. We would like to create a safe audio space for Rainbow Mums and Rainbow Kids to share their lives and experiences. It feels appropriate to try and explore these families from all angles.

We made the first series out of our own pocket, but cannot afford to do this again - and so we are looking for donations which will enable us to produce the second series.
