Hello! My name is Karen Wickiam and I am a retired Emergency Room nurse. After 20+ years I decided to hang up my stethoscope and pick up a mic and make a podcast. This has been a dream of mine.
There is so much that I want to discuss and share. This podcast discusses medical history, medical true crime, coroners cases, medical breakthroughs, bizarre and strange medical practices from around the globe. At the end of every episode, I share a wild, weird and wacky true story from the ER in a segment called the 'Suture Room'. It is sure to make you laugh.
Your contribution will help cover my hosting and production costs, as well as improve and upgrade my equipment I have monthly fee for a US phone plan so I can contact people for the show, as well as buying and mailing out merchandise to listeners.
I have also invested thousands of dollars of my own, just to get this podcast up and running such as a computer and recording and editing equipment,
