While the initial sustainability target is $500 per month, additional patron support allows The Lost Art Project: Veterans’ Voices to improve production quality, expand reach, and preserve more veteran stories.
Below is how monthly funding directly strengthens the podcast and its long-term mission:
🎯 Goal 1: Equipment Upgrade Fund
Amount: $500 / month
This level of support allows for gradual replacement and upgrading of essential recording and production gear — including microphones, audio interfaces, and editing tools.
Improved equipment directly enhances sound quality, reliability, and overall listener experience.

🎯 Goal 2: Travel & On-Site Interviews
Amount: $750 / month
Supports occasional travel to conduct in-person interviews with veterans and guests whose stories are best captured face-to-face.
Many of the most meaningful conversations happen outside a studio. This funding enables the project to meet veterans where they are.
🎯 Goal 3: Growth & Outreach
Amount: $1,000 / month
Allows investment in audience growth, professional branding, promotional efforts, and expanded video content.
Greater visibility means more veterans reached, more stories preserved, and greater historical impact.
🎯 Goal 4: Sustain & Expand the Mission
Amount: $1,500 / month
Provides full operational stability and supports long-term improvements, including:
• Ongoing equipment maintenance
• Increased travel opportunities
• Enhanced production capabilities
• Live recordings and special projects
• Future documentary-style initiatives
This level allows the project to operate without constraint and pursue higher-impact opportunities.
