Hi, welcome to "The Rainbow Remix" - your LGBTQ focused podcast covering everything from music, books, news, art, culture, short films, relationship experts, mental health and well being. Join London's Denise Warner, formerly of the long running "Lesbian Lounge" podcast (2006-2016) and South Florida singer/songwriter JD Danner ("Almost Home" "House Blend"), friends for over 15 years, Denise and JD bring you LGBTQ chat from all over the globe. They also record their show for their YouTube Channel, which you can check out (see above). They've had conversations with out creatives like Celeste Pechou from Showtime's "Work In Progress", Franco Stevens of the legendary "Curve Magazine", Matt Skallerud of Pink Media, Michelle Bonilla (from "NCIS", "911", "The Rookie', "General Hospital", "Castle"), musician Melissa Ferrick, TLC reality stars Laura Leigh and Lauren from "S' Mothered", relationship therapist Dr. Lynda Spann from The Lesbian Couple's Institute of Colorado, Julie Schurr, a Success Strategist and Achievement Skills Coach, British comedian Fiona Goodwin, the always hilarious iconic comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer, Dana Goldberg, author Mike Lawson of Manchester England ("Biscuits With Blanche") and from OutQ SiriusXM and The Daily Show author and comedian Frank DeCaro, actress and producer Jill Bennett and more.
The show started in 2020: like everyone else in the world, Denise & JD decided to put together a podcast to celebrate their friendship and Covid lockdowns combined with their shared interest in music, whiskey and chat - they formed "The Whiskey Rock Lounge" and had their own house mixologist, Tyler Routley of Eight & Sand, a Memphis hot spot- as they delved into cocktails and conversation. In 2021, they rebranded and shifted focus to another common interest: The LGBTQ Community. Being two out lesbians, they realised they shared so many connections to the community that those people and projects needed spotlighting. They revised the show to highlight projects and businesses that the queer community needed, that were positive forces, that needed help, promotion, and a rainbow platform to shine from. Keep us going to keep bringing YOU new information about worthy projects, businesses, music, books, films, shows and events from all over the world!

Any and all money raised will go to maintaining the popular MyLesbianRadio.com and The Rainbow Remix audio feed (over 15,000 per month) and it's associated sites (The Rainbow Remix You Channel) while producing and mentoring new, up and coming talent with a passion for podcasting while providing a safe LGBTQ space and home for their ideas and more importantly, their growth. Annual subscriptions for the audio feed, host, domains, equipment, DropBox, and apps all cost money which have been soley absorbed by our internal team, and now just Denise and JD -while never charging anyone for anything over the last 13 years. Since crowdfunding, combined with social media, has led to a new way of finding monetary support, I'd like to take advantage of this opportunity to help keep our stream thriving so newcomers, first timers, anyone interested in LGBT podcasting can have a chance to be successful and heard.
