We are working hard to help make computers less frustrating and more fun.

We are working hard to help make computers less frustrating and more fun.

We are a husband and wife team who own a computer repair / custom build shop. We are children of the 70s and both cut our teeth on IBM clones. Our shop has been running for 8+ years and a lot has changed over those years. However, one thing has never changed and that is people's frustration with computers.

Just about the time you grow familiar with a system, they change everything! We spend a lot of time with walk-ins and customers over the phone trying to help them make sense of their machines. That's difficult when we are also trying to repair and build systems at the same time. So, we have decided to start this podcast to reach more people at times that are convenient to them and us.

We also intend to share our adventures and experiments with different systems. We built a Steam machine out of spare parts to test the limits of those older components with newer software. We also test out new components and externals from time to time and we will give you our reviews on those items. There will also be periodic rants when something isn't working well. We are human, we have computer issues, too.

Our podcast primarily covers Windows and Linux systems. Phil has the Microsoft and Cisco certs and I am the Linux geek. I will only be covering basic Linux questions just because there are over 7 million distros and I don't have time to know them all.

You're support will help us spend more time helping people with their computing nightmares and questions. Our approach is laid back with a healthy dose of humor because if you can't laugh about your computer problems, then you're at risk for spontaneous explosion.

Please support us with whatever level you can afford. It will help us keep the lights on around here and we will help you gain some inner peace with your computer.

Thanks,

Phil & Jaime Haley

Our goal is to upgrade our equipment so we can produce a polished podcast and be able to get the word out there through advertising that there is someone who can help others with their computer headaches or questions. All of this costs money and since we are just a mom and pop store we need a little help from our friends to help us with our outreach.
