I teach grandmothers how to use Windows. I teach website owners how to use their websites. (How many "webmasters" do THAT?) I teach local small business owners how to work their websites, computers, and social media.
Any funding I get helps me to continue the mission of informing the ordinary people that need good help with technology without paying a fortune for "slap-dash" work. (As in "slap it together and dash off without really explaining anything.

Also, I'm working on something revolutionary for sharing business contact details. I don't have it up as of this writing, (03/16/2017) but in the near future, Contact Biz QR (Patent pending) will change everything about going to a business mixer or sales meeting. You'll be able to share contact details on the spot instead of dealing with a ton of business cards in a box - someday - after you get home.

Put initial payment down on Contact Biz QR app dev
As soon as I reach $10,324.00 (including the first $324.00 raised) I will put in a down payment with a great app developer and get the development of the Contact Biz Qr mobile app in-progress.
I've already paid out-of-pocket to do a provisional patent application on the idea and file it, so yes, "patent pending" applies.
I am currently working on the crowd-funding video specifically for this project, which I have also paid for myself.
In a nutshell, this app will allow you to directly embed your business contact details in a QR code - and then print it on stickers to go on your existing business cards, brochures, flyers, and more. Additinally, you'll be able to send the QR code to your printer and have it printed on your new business cards and promotional materials. You'll be able to put it on luggage, in your e-mail signature, on your website contact page, on your "house for sale sign," and a lot of other places we haven't thought up yet.
As soon as that's available, you can stop worrying about scanning 25 or 50 business cards after you get home from a major business event. You'll be able to point your phone camera at a business card, name tag, or brochure and add its business contact info right into your phone contacts on-the-spot.
I know the pain of trying to scan contact info off of business cards with today's Optical Character Recognition technology. A little flowing script, low contrast between characters and background, or artsy graphics, and you're either correcting most of the details manually, or entering it all manually.
Enough! Bring on the flowing scripts, artwork, and cool colors! Slap a little QR code somewhere on your biz card and let it be beautiful to both the human eye AND digital cameras!
