Asian Pacific Voices Radio is a weekly podcast that explores in-depth #RealAsianPacificAmericanConversations.
Since our launch in early 2021, we have spoken with community leaders and activists, health and business professionals, entrepreneurs, media creators and educators to share their personal experiences and expert insight. Within each episode, we talk about social and cultural topics that affect our community—including the things they are too afraid to ask their parents. Asian Pacific Voices Radio is hosted by Asian Culture & Media Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to create a voice of unity, awareness, and empowerment for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities through film, television, and new media.
Our podcast is an extension of the Asian Pacific Voices cultural television series, which shares the stories of AAPI individuals, organizations, and events in Southern California. We have just a small team coordinating our show every week—many of us with jobs and families to take care of on a day-to-day basis—but we truly believe in sharing the important stories of Asian Pacific Islander communities.
