EastCountyToday.net hosts the podcast Contra Costa Today which is a free podcast covering Contra Costa County and the state of California. The goal of the show is to allow the community an opportunity to hear from elected officials, business owners, non-profits and members of the community to better inform the community of what is transpiring.
By pledging to EastCountyToday, you are helping us keep the show going, ensure we have solid equipment and hopefully can host more episodes each week.
By pledging, you are also helping our website stay operational and allowing us to focus on producing local news, provide more service and be able to increase coverage.
Weekly Release
News is a tough business these days and advertising budgets are tight... this helps ensure we can produce a weekly show while continuing to provide local news to the community.
Bonus Shows
This would allow us the chance to do dedicate more time to the podcast and produce 2-3 shows each week while still running our website and producing local news.

If we hit this goal, we could actually do a daily show Monday through Friday... the dream!!! It would also allow us the time to put together a higher produced show, dedicated time and research to have an even more in depth show than we already do. Plus, our website would be able to produce even more news each day.
