It All Started With a Podcast
The idea for this show came from who else another podcaster. I was in the gym listening to Michael Stelzner on The Rise to the Top podcast. One thing Michael said stuck with me. That 2013 was the year of the podcast and that if you didn't start one you would be missing out on a massive opportunity.
Fast Forward
I did what most people do and that would be to research. I researched for 8 months everything to do with podcasting. I looked into the software and the equipment studying anything you could think of. I went back and listened to other podcast and bought products related to podcasting. I ATTACKED PODCASTING!
The only thing I didn't do was to start actually podcasting!
A Break Through
Finally, I hit a brick wall in Aug of 2014. I realized over the entire time I had just been putting off starting the podcast via analysis paralysis. After a much-needed intervention with my coach about what was holding me back. I decided to launch in 30 days .
September 30th would be the day and to top it off that's my birthday! I ran out bought equipment, learned how to use it and started approaching guest and sponsors.
I had tons of early success and started landing some awesome guest for show and it's been going great. There were bumps in the road but overall after all that research and working to improve as a podcaster the show has really grown over the past three years.
So here's what I'm asking
Contribute just a little each month to support the show, the travel and everything it takes to build this podcast and to keep it going. I've made it really easy to start support by giving just support is $1.99. It's like buying me a really cheap cup of gas station coffee.
When I found podcasting I found a freedom. A freedom that I had never experienced before.
Having a podcast has enabled me to connect with people I would normally not have access too. I've grown my business as a result of the show and most importantly I've been able to help others grow in their journey by passing on the knowledge I learn from my guest.
I've even been given the opportunity to teach at the University of Missouri St. Louis, or UMSL to most about podcasting as an adjunct professor.
