TWIHL, The Week in Health Law, a wonkish, commuting length podcast about health law and policy.

Frank Pasquale (left) is a Professor of Law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in Baltimore. Nicolas Terry is a Professor of Law at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. Together we are responsible for The Week in Health Law Podcast.

We spend most of our time teaching, speaking on, or writing about healthcare law and policy. Not surprisingly given our jobs (professing!) and out vocation (law) we like to talk about current thorny issues. We are also amazingly fortunate to be part of one of the most robust academies. Our colleagues in healthcare law and policy and beyond (we also work in law-related IT and data fields) are some of the smartest people we know. So, this podcast is also about getting some of the people we admire the most in front of a microphone so that we can learn from them. We try to keep the episodes to commuting-length but often fail because we were having too much fun!

We put our show notes up at www.TWIHL.com.You can Subscribe at iTunes, listen at Stitcher Radio and Podbean, or search for The Week in Health Law in your favorite podcast app.

Start-Up Costs

$1,000 per month

We aren't doing this to get rich!. But, we would like to cover some of our online feed and equipment costs. If you would like to pitch in that would be great. If not, don't feel bad because we intend to keep recording as long as this stays fun!

New Web Site

$2,500 per month

The current TWIHL.com web site is rather utilitarian. It needs a makeover and that means a new, more expensive platform!

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful work. Among the very best podcasts, consistently smart and addresses a very complex subject without dumbing down, but with a good humor that makes the sometimes dry material digestible . . . three cheers for TWIHL. Oh, and your audio is good (surprising how many podcasts fail that basic)

Great podcast! I'm a first-year medical student and I'm always intrigued to learn about the regulatory and legal landscape of health care. Frank and Nic, along with their weekly guests, do a great job of breaking down and analyzing new developments in health law. Keep up the great work!
