Having been in the ministry for over 45 years now (which includes preaching in many churches and camps, leading Bible studies with college students, working with teenagers since the summer of 1972, as well as 40 years with a congregation in a town that is notoriously transient), I’ve had hundreds of people out there who have requested how they could have some way to hear solid Bible teaching. These former campers and college students are all adults by now; and some even have their own adult children. they have attended good churches for the most part, but many of them still come to me with almost the same comment: 'We just can't find any sound and thorough Bible teaching.'
My ministry has always been expositional in format; verse by verse and passage by passage; in a series of messages consecutively through a book of the Bible. Teaching the Bible is my style of 'preaching'. It is instructional and motivational in order to apply God's truth in a meaningful and practical way.
I decided early on in the planning stages of this project that I did not want to merely take pre-recorded messages from another setting. I desired instead to create fresh messages just for the purpose of serving this audience on this platform.
