My name is Corey, many of my friends call me a Wookiee. I am a professional chef with a deep passion for food, history, and Star Wars.
One of my goals as a professional chef is to feed people. I'm also an artist, so I like to feed people "pretty" food. I began to understand, in my restaurant one day, that home cooks don't have the same advantages that professionals do in being able to prepare "pretty" food. This got me to thinking about different ways that a home cook can do all of the amazing things that are done at fancy restaurants.
It became my dream to teach the culinary arts and to help people understand food, science, and some of the tricks of the trade that will let anyone, anywhere, make fantastic and artistic plates for their family and friends. Everyone deserves to eat good food, and anyone can be a great cook.
Pledging your support in this helps to keep it alive, and gets some pretty nice benefits too. In the beginning my goal is to stay on the air by having the podcast pay for itself. Longer term, I hope to bring more frequent episodes, with more features, and more elaborate learning experiences. My ultimate goal is to be fully accessible and able to host events and demo's for listeners to draw more live experience from.
