Hi,
My name is Richard Young, I fell in love with magic at the aged of 8 and spent my entire childhood and teenage years practicing magic. I became a full time professional magician in 2007 and perform as both a close-up magician at private and corporate events and as a stage illusionist in the act Young & Strange.
Being a working magician means spending lots of time travelling around and in 2014 I started listening to podcasts. One in particular grabbed my attention which was The Comedians Comedians Podcast, in each episode the host (Stuart Goldsmith) would interview a different comedian about their career and the way they approach the creative process of writing comedy. I started to think what a shame it was that no one had done a similar podcast for magic so decided to create one myself.
I assumed it would be a little hobby, however The Magicians Podcast became a my life for 5 years. Behind our paywall you can access the entire 100 episodes.
