Support the growth of the podcast & Milestone pages

Ever since I could first speak, I loved horses. My love for them started with me playing with my moms old Breyer horses. I started asking to ride the real ones at just two years old. By age 4, my dreams finally came true and I started out my riding career learning to ride on Arabian horses. From there, my love for horses sky rocketed and I began showing the Arabian horse circuit for many years.

As I grew older and gained more experience, I started to notice some welfare concerns in the horse world, the most eye opening of which pertaining to management like lack of turnout or equipment, like harsh bits or other gadgets. My awareness of rough training and management practices became more attuned once I got my first rescue horse, a chestnut gelding who I named Milo, aka, Milestone, who my company is now named after.
Milo was a major milestone in my horsemanship. He has made me question so many things I once never even thought to criticize. Because of him, I am committed to making more comfortable and ethical equipment for horses. I want to use my platforms to help share information, talk about my past mistakes and educate people on how to do better by their horses.

As I continue to expand my businesses, my eventual goal is to be able to curate more ethical riding products, starting with my anatomical flashless and crankless bridles, as well as working towards my lifetime goal of eventually owning and building my own horse farm with the intent to provide ethical training and management practices. I am a hard working young woman with little capital or ability to receive help when it comes to my business endeavours. A lot of my plans are high risk without the ability to take out business loans or receive help from family. In supporting my podcast and other social medias, you help to support my business goals and the overall expenses associated with recording podcasts, videos and offering information online as well as helping to make a difference in the lives of the horses I rescue and train.
If you become a patron to Making Milestones, you’ll immediately get access to as many as 0 patron-only posts.

Get better podcast equipment for better recording sound

$400 per month

I would like to continue to update my equipment to allow for the podcast to be more clear and recorded better for better enjoyment of those watching it. On top of this, I would like to continue my education so that my qualifications and ability to effectively share information grows. I am nearly finished my equine sciences certificate and anything to support my podcasts will help me in achieving these educational goals without continuing to expand my student loans.

Update video capacities

$600 per month

I want to continue to curate my social medias to offer better video, photography as well as infographics to help people understand training and horse care concepts even better. To do so, I would need to higher more staff, improve the tools I have for film and photography and pay for artists to create the infographics in order to share.
