An Interview Podcast that invites Moms to share their parenting story

An Interview Podcast that invites Moms to share their parenting story

Welcome to the “No Mom is an Island” Podcast.  While your initial thought may be, “I wouldn’t mind being on an island--all by myself for a few minutes,” the classic poem by John Donne reminds us that we are not alone in this human existence.  The island analogy is one of being lonely, not alone.  As moms, we can feel lonely in our journey.  We compare ourselves to how we perceive others.  We judge ourselves by the shortcomings we are so aware of.  We isolate ourselves because we think it’s only us that feels this way.  But the truth is--we all experience these feelings.  So, let’s open up, share with each other and be connected.

This podcast is designed around 10 prompts to guide Moms in telling their stories.  The first episode features the host as the guest.  Future episodes will feature a Mom who has agreed to tell her story.
