A ’safe space’ for those in substance-abuse disorder recovery who are surviving and thriving.

'Recovery Talks: The Podcast' is member-supported by a community of like-minded people, just like you. It seeks to build, serve, and engage the community by eliminating the stigma associated with substance-abuse recovery.  Hosted by musician, writer, recovery advocate, and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Marc Lee Shannon, the podcast seeks the support of patrons by engaging in honest, real, blunt, and inspiring dialogue with those in active recovery as well as those working in the recovery-community.

If you become a patron to Recovery Talks: The Podcast, you’ll immediately get access to as many as 0 patron-only posts.

Breaking the Stigma of Recovery

$500 per month

As 'Recovery Talks: The Podcast' embarks on its fourth season, it's our goal to be able to expand the effective reach of the podcast by purchasing extra gear for remote-recording, allowing for some additional 'guest' microphones in order to facilitate an easier-to-listen-to recording, especially from those guests who are recording from alternate spaces due to COVID or 'distance', and to shore up some of the costs of producing each episode of the podcast.
