Help us collect roller derby's history and present, and examine the issues shaping the sport!
We all know that roller derby is predominantly run on the blood, sweat (so much sweat), and tears of passionate volunteers - and that goes for our little podcast, too. Both Hammer and Allie are skaters in addition to announcers, all on top of their work to independently produce the podcast on a regular basis.
We don't need or ask for much, but EVERY little bit you can throw in the tip jar will go a long ways toward helping us cover the costs of travel (there's a lot of travel) and technical support (website fees, etc.), as well as the odd piece of equipment (we're gonna need a new portable mic/recorder soon, for instance).
We'll keep rolling as long as we're able, regardless, but getting even a small amount of financial support would take some of the stress of and make it possible for us to gather more incredible derby history, interview more amazing people, and hopefully contribute something of lasting value to the current and future derby (and sporting) world. Maybe that's just our grandiose dreams, though...

Portable/field recorder for better interviews on-the-go!
We'll be honest with you: right now we're borrowing a field recorder from a friend. He's gonna need it back eventually, and we'll be left without a good way to record interviews when we're traveling. Which is...most of our good interviews.
Help us raise the funds to buy a solid, portable recorder (i.e. the Zoom H4N or similar) - reliable interviews with better sound quality. Everyone wins!
Any additional funds will help us upgrade and maintain our web presence without incurring further personal expense.
