Season 2
In 2016, I was fortunate to receive a USC Capstone grant to create and launch the "e-travels with e. trules" Podcast. For that, I am deeply grateful.
In 2017, I retired from USC, after teaching 31 years as an Associate Professor of Theatre Practice. I am now in the brand new process of creating my "third act" (to use a theater metaphor), which includes bringing up my 10 year old nephew, Exsel, now my adopted son, and continuing with Season 2 of the podcast.
That's why I need your help. Season 2.
Each travelogue episode costs about $500, depending on exact length. What is unique and different about my podcast, compared to other travel podcasts, is the totally sound-immersive style of story telling... with original music composed by Amanda Yamate and sound design by Alysha Bermudez. And whereas the typical podcast (travel and otherwise) is relatively inexpensive to produce, because it consists of a simple interview, my Team needs to be paid. And... I want to pay them.
So for each $500 this campaign raises, I can produce another travelogue episode. 10 travelogue episodes, plus 10 more "Behind the Scenes" episodes (signigicantly less expensive to produce), create a... Seaon 2.
I know many Patron campaigns aim for $3-50/month per Patron, but if you can afford to be even more generous, THAT would be a true surprise and delight. I PROMISE that the Travel Gods will look down favorably upon you... and smile.
