I'm an all around creative person who loves comedy. For years, I've been working in a range of creative industries: I'm a filmmaker, actor, musician and writer. The reason I wanted to start this podcast is because a) I know a lot of insanely talented people who deserve a platform and b) I love comedy and the conversations I have with other people who work in the creative industries. Generally, they are very funny conversations and I thought "Why not record them?"
I'd basically be using the money from patron to further develop the podcast. Currently, it's a 'phone in' situation because I don't own a studio space, I simply can't afford to get set up with such a thing so generally, money would go to further developing the podcast.
Set up a real studio
As I detailed before, currently, my podcast deals with creative people phoning in to talk with me. I'd prefer to be in a situation where they come to a studio.
