This podcast captures the struggle of learning English and follows the learning journey of a non-native teacher of English from the Czech Republic. Despite the fact Zdenek has dreams of becoming C2 level in English, he often faces confidence issues and gets self-conscious about his English. However, the host of this show is determined not to give up. Most language learners can easily relate to experience like that.
There are almost 350 episodes in the archive. Some are Zdenek's monologues, but a lot of them are interviews with interesting people that he meets (often English native speakers - most famously with Luke Thompson from Luke's English Podcast). In some episodes, Zdenek analyses language and teaches vocabulary. There are also episodes that describe Zdenek's experience of taking CELTA and DELTA courses as well as IELTS exam.
