Backers-Only Episode
$5 or more per month • 0 patrons
Once a month, we will release a backers-only episode of the show that will not be accessible to the rest of the world for 90 days.
GET $5 REWARDPhysical Media
$10 or more per month • 0 patrons
We're a show that celebrates an era when physical media was king -- so why not? We'll send you a cassette tape or CD version of one episode each month.
You can choose what episode is on your physical copy, and what format -- but remember that CDs and cassette tapes have time constraints that the internet does not...so it is possible or even likely that we will have to edit down to a cut that will fit on a single disc/tape.
GET $10 REWARDSponsorship
$50 or more per month • 0 patrons
You or your product will be the "sponsor" of an episode. We will open and close the episode with a message from our sponsors, up to 60 seconds and within reason.
This tier excludes physical rewards from previous tiers.

Hey, all!
Russ here from Emerald City Video. We've been doing this show for over 2 years now and have turned out some pretty fun material, but I've been paying out of pocket the whole time, so when I saw that Podbean was setting up a Patron service, I figure it was worth a try. Patreon, when we tried it, was a bit of a bust, and I recently set it up again but have not yet promoted it since the last time left such a sour taste in my mouth. This one might be a better way to go, so we'll see!
ECV creates a number of pop culture podcasts centering on film and television criticism.
Archie Digest: A Riverdale Podcast does post-episode reviews and discussions on The CW's hit Archie Comics adaptation Riverdale. You can find more details at archiedigestpodcast.com.
Delicious Flavor: A Psych Rewatch Podcast takes fans through USA Network's hit procedural drama Psych.
The Emerald City Video Podcast features ComicBook.com senior staff writer Russ Burlingame, acclaimed photojournalist and filmmaker Zach D. Roberts, and numerous other former employees of the Emerald City Video store in Syracuse (sadly no longer active), talking about, reviewing, and recommending movies.
We genuinely think there is some value to this beyond just entertainment and being yet another reviewer on the internet. We approach it differently, and one of the reasons we are heading to Patreon is because we have some fun, exciting ideas on how to become more interactive with the audience.
Just like they used to do when video stores were a thing, only back then somebody paid them to. I...guess that's where YOU come in?
Self-sustaining
If we can make $100 a month, then the several podcasts I work on under the ECV banner will be self-sustaining and I can start to bank some money for things like backers-only podcasts that would have to be distributed through physical means.
